This packet has four narratives designed for first graders. Following the completion of each story, students are tasked to recall and write three sentences from the narrative. Additionally, they will identify the overarching theme of each story (courage, forgiveness, loyalty, or teamwork). This curriculum aligns specifically with the first-grade reading literature standard RL.1.2.
